    The Circle... 


You are the first
  You are the last
You are the birth of every past.
  You are the light
Full of delight
  With every Dawn, you break the night.
You are divine
  I am the vine
Let me be drinking, drinking your wine.
  I am the Beat
You are the treat
  Together we make a Circle complete.

Pashang, I wanted to see your first poem here at PS to see how your journey started and I was not disappointed.. this is an intriguing and compelling write. Using the concept of the continuum of a circle and your perception of your place in it is an interesting concept, excellently expressed and enjoyed!

The very sweet circle of life is also tinged with a bit of sadness. The sweet and the sad complete each other. Very strange world we are in.

Hi Pashang. I have never tried a Ghazal. As a form i don't really know it. As a poem, itdoes tick all my boxes. I always find i am glad to read poets early works for they usually hold such hidden gems as this write is. Let the heart keep singing....Vladislav.
