The Church Is Alien

Centuries you rule
a safe passage heavenly
in conformity
with deeds given to aid you...
after the battle we fall.

You've written a poem that will mean so many different things to so many different people, and you've done it so well.

As with everything manmade. God's word is the only thing that stands the test of time. Keep praying my friend. :) Peace. :)

Thought provoking! The church held a lot of power, does it stand the test of time? Does it crumble if not held by the masses? Interesting after thoughts brought on by your poem. :)

I feel it's true that over the centuries we believe God and pray Him in Church which is believed to a safe heavenly passage and God awards too according to our strength of belief and faith. He has given the passage but we miss to aid ourselves due to our fault, so we fall. Golden piece it's you have adorned with golden thoughts and it's my favorite too. Loved always, my lovely friend,bl

And boy, has the Church fallen. I ain't Religious, too many of their misdemeanours have risen to the surface. They'll continue to lose faith, and for me, a decent clean living community is what I desire to be part of. Fine piece Harry :)

Hello Harry, first I want to ask about a comment. In a comment, you said, you thought I had you blocked.. Why would you ever think such a thing? Through thick and thin, we've all been in.... Anyhow! I feel the invasion, everyytime I was at front in a church..LOL.. I want them to take me in.. Love this..Linda

Good to hear from you, Harry. Don't quite know how to take this one - seems religion is getting to be a bad word. Am I close? Love, daver
