The Children Of Gaza

We watch while we cry
as children of Gaza die…
deny genocide
Child of Gaza
thy innocence in ruins…
buried in despair
Gaza’s children
our hearts a hole carved
as babes of Gaza starve
only tiny amounts of aid
Or piling out of reach
Concrete border
empty flatbed trucks
crossings bare from south to north
 just fatality—insufferable!
Genocide of Palestinian's
starve the children
bomb their land
an ancient war
little child understand
famine he understands well
while we surf the channels
some shall shrug and look away…
this is not my child is what they say

This is a raw and powerful piece—urgent, mournful, and unflinching. The fragmented structure mirrors the emotional rupture, and the closing line delivers a gut punch. It’s a poetic scream against apathy, and it doesn’t let the reader off easy.

Hello Danny, I believe we need to show concern of the atrocities of man's doing. The end of the genocide ( officially declared by the UN's) shall not come on it's own without advocates to cry out for end of genocide! God help us? TyVm, your review is poetic, I enjoyed reading. xXhugs
