The Changing of the Tide

Draw a straight line shallowly within the beach sand The world is on the other side but I have your hand. Step over it and were both off and running Take a deep breath the wave is coming The changing of the tide give it a try for me The changing of the tide throw your bottle of worries into the sea The changing of the tide what will it bring to you The changing of the tide will you keep your point of view The changing of the tide it gets closer everyday The changing of the tide let your problems be swept away You jumped right in but left your print behind Did the water help to clear your mind Your soul aches from the long swim But you must keep going if you want to ever win The changing of the tide give it a try for me The changing of the tide throw your bottle of worries into the sea The changing of the tide what will it bring to you The changing of the tide will you keep your point of view The changing of the tide it gets closer everyday The changing of the tide let your problems be swept away You made it there in one piece to the other side There I was waiting for you with my heart open wide You conquered it all on your own both fear and doubt You know you had in you all the time but isn’t that what life is all about The changing of the tide give it a try for me The changing of the tide throw your bottle of worries into the sea The changing of the tide what will it bring to you The changing of the tide will you keep your point of view The changing of the tide it gets closer everyday The changing of the tide let your problems be swept away
