The Catholic Church of Love and Acceptance
No one is brainwashed if everyone is
And my mom is right about that.
But she doesn’t just listen, she believes and she knows
That no other soul knows true love.
And who am I to judge how people follow a God?
But who are they to judge me?
If the point of religion is to spread peace and love
Few brave zealots follow through.
If I were to believe in a God
It would be a concept so fulfilling and calm
I’d be content to know I could live life with love,
I’d be content in keeping it to myself.
I’d be content in having a higher power of love,
And I’d know not everyone wants that.
As soon as you know that you know the only love,
Your love is twisted and conditional.
Your son will never feel your love
And that’s not what your God wanted.
