The Calm Before Birth - Senryu

               asleep in her cocoon
warm, soft, cuddled in her depths
               till the sun kissed me

               Tribute to my Mother, Irene.
               Thank you for my life!
               Your courage to give birth.
To stand by me, till you went on.

                      Love, Pangie xxxxx

Hello Prince De Mino! Indeed, she was awesome. Any woman who carried a baby is a heroine.so, Prince, in truth it was a salute to all mothers, married or single( (see my other comments to Michael). I am very clear, without her, I would not be here. I am positive I brought her joy, and my Father, too. Bless your Mom also_ I never would have met you. Pangie! Xx

A heartfelt piece for your Dear mother Irene Pangie. A life to share with you she gave you. I know she was a loving mother that you will cherish forever in your heart. God bless you for sharing your mom and how she was loved by you...

Thank you Michael! I never listed the wonderful ways she was in this poem. I have in other poems. This was a Senryu, in support of not killing babies via abortion. Not one writer here was not a tiny embryo Each mother of all poets, went though nine months. Then.. They nurtured and loved us. In other words, they gave us the right to life. There would be no 30,000 poets here, had we been killed before birth, would there. This baby killing is atrocious.we are like Naxis, if we kill babies…. just lacking uniforms and offing the innocent. The end of the human race! Thank you.Pangie.
