The Butterfly On My Nose

Unexpected Prince The Charming
As a latecomer arrived
And was very much regretting
For the fact a little later. :-)

I was dead or maybe sleeping
But no more after he kissed me.
All the world have been forgotten
While my head was gently spinning.

Even after all his efforts
To convince me he is real
Still I often have some doubts
Every moment when can’t touch him.

Just remember ‘saw him smiling
And was seized at the second,
Not allowed to forget his
Sparkling eyes, lips so suggestive.

Since the night and still it here
Magic butterfly’s wings trembling
On the middle of my nose.
Not to blink, afraid of breathing.

Love the metaphors and imagery that delivery a magically profound and heart deep feel. The ending was a perfect clincher for capturing the poems intent. A joy to read. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Dear Cay, I shared my feeling, and just got an amazing feeling in return from your warm comment. It's a blessing to share the most beautiful vibes we are given sometimes. Another blessing is the appreciation of them. Soul Hugs :)

Aww, I love this! It's simply beautiful, I'd be so still, with that butterfly there :) Welcome to PoetrySoup.

Oh, thank you very much for your nice review and welcoming me here! I would transfer all the credits for the poem to the muse who made the poem happened, except one.. for my English... That's so good that the butterfly is so indulgent to a silly happy smile .. Just a tip for you when one of them will land on your nose one beautiful day. Glad to meet you!
