The Burning

Sacred flags of the witch hunt lay tossed in arrogant flames and then devoured on the ashes the pitiful bones of their remains so in gleeful disunity they rose to their bestial cause delivered all their children to Babylonian whores Ah we know the fires eat your soul you are brought to the despicable by the evil that you know and in the raged rages demonstration sends you wild you cannot break the parchment of the curse you have defined sold to the hatred so bitter in your mind is the mountain you have to climb Broken on the fallout of every single time dreams of ever loving you finally left behind scared by the stitches sewing together life and walk away in the tear drops you’re never going to find Praise them all for every excuse hit them hard below the belt for disbelieving you Yer you know its a painting by numbers of the truth still its better than the nightmare that quietly wakes you up Yer you know the hound is at your heels its fangs are tearing into you with everything you don’t feel Yer you know the hound is at your heels its fangs are tearing into you with everything you don’t feel Stand alone on the precipice of hell look into the flames you didn’t know but knew so very well it’s your love in its destruction the torture that you feel You are alone if it’s an illusion that you choose if it’s some way in the card game you would prefer to lose you are alone in the iniquity believing that in solitude is all that there can be you are alone in a prescription of chemically a single unnoticed response of everything you can be Yer you know its a painting by numbers of the truth still its better than the nightmare that quietly wakes you up Yer you know the hound is at your heels its fangs are tearing into you with everything you don’t feel Yer you know the hound is at your heels its fangs are tearing into you with everything you don’t feel
