The burn in mine eyes

I thought of the pass of I flooding …your eyes your strong arms lowering …mine casket I thought of the days daze …you would sigh Of the prose and rhymes of the me …you would cast Yet here now are my prayers to Jehovah; to relieve the burn in …mine eyes *Nathaniel my dear nephew, sleep peacefully

Thank you my dear brother, for honoring my son Nathaniel and your nephew by way of this beautiful poem. I still can't wrap my mind around this, I'm still in disbelief.

Very thoughtful and probably difficult to write. But over all a fitting elegy.

yes, james. I live far from you. And I am happy because Utah has had no unusually cold winter. It's a fairly normal winter and now warming up. I sure hope things get better for YOU guys. I keep hearing some really horrible things about the weather in other parts of the world!!

Hi James Visiting your poems for the first time and was really touched by this expression of overwhelming emotions and the unfairness of having younger people pass away before we do. Well written elegy. Xx~Xx
