With joy that comes
From knowing
Redemption
Inspires
Wisdom
Faith
More
When I’m broken – alone and silent
Words mark my thoughts with colors
Hues of compassion and inspiration
Feelings that beckon to solve my puzzle
With pieces that fit inside my beliefs
Like melancholy rides the waves of the
Seas, with sensations of elation and love
Enlightenment that is sent down from above
Brokenness captures my reflections within
Between heartbeats there are echoes of praise
To the One who knows that I am made up of
Many moments and wonders, sweet and salty
All that comes from knowing the One who reaches
Through my worries and struggles with pure
Faith and honesty, embracing even my worst pain
With arms of grace and light, fire that reignites
Desire, faith and the brilliant passage of time
When everyone knows that real love is alive
Broken hearts are filled with hurt
Yet they know the way
To joy and inspiration
Guide us all through
Anxiety and despair
Grief
The broken heart
Leads us to believe
In the dream
For love
That is
Alive
Free
Thriving with a miracle
From the heart who
Has found that
Brokenness
Eventually
Heals
With love
My pen breathes
Relief and reprieve
