The Bridge
THE BRIDGE.
It wasn’t the comfy ride
Trying to cross over the bridge
Didn’t know the road would get that rough
It tore apart the wheels
But determined was I to finish the ride
That’s why my folks took me to school
To see me cross over the bridge
It was not a bed of roses
The cold mornings pricked harder in
But determined I was to get the degree
They saved my life and took me to the clinic
To see me cross over the bridge of life
The ceiling was too familiar and so the injections
The doctors and nurses made one happy family
but determined saw I to have my life back.
Its not a jet ride
Cast aside your pride if you wonna cross the bridge
When you see them in their big cars
They worked for it, they never gave up
Because they were determined, you too be
