I’ve dreamed of getting married since I was a little girl
Now the day has finally come and my head is in a whirl!
Our friends and family are all here to see us wed
My Mum has the biggest hat sitting on her head!
Today’s our wedding day and our married life will start
I give you all my love and you’ll always be in my heart
You’ve placed a gold wedding band here on my left hand
I know I am the luckiest lady in the whole of the land
In our life together will have days that are good and bad
I’ll try my best to wear a smile and try not to get too sad
But I won’t obey you Dave, I have a strong will of my own
So don’t bother trying, or you’ll hear me moan and groan!
We stand together side by side as husband and wife
Today has got to be the happiest day ever in my life
