The Breaking Before the Blessing

God may tell you to move forward, have no fear He has your back 
Omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient He's always with you in fact 
So don't worry about the destination just enjoy the journey you traverse 
The act of knowing, the act of going and the act of arriving for better or worse 
Be not in a hurry to be where God wants you to go
As there will be a breaking before the blessing just to let you know

We all have baggage and issues that we haul around in life
But God looks beyond our faults and bless us in the midst of our strife
God has favor for us, He understands our situations 
As God is the answer to all of life's complications 
There will be an internal transformation to compliment 
The external grace of God 
Just trust in Him and believe in Him from the depths of your heart 
Now renewed, recalibrated, reformed and revised 
The breaking before the blessing God's ultimate prize 

Now breaking away from the old you that caused you
To miss opportunities in life
No longer letting the pain of your past
Paralyze your progress over your strife
You need God on this journey, you need His Heavenly touch
Let God fight your battles for you as alone its just too much
Possessing the spirit of intentionality focused and cynosure 
Journeying with the Lord Our God now and forever more

Leaving your old ways behind, no longer stuck in the past
A new creation in Christ intimate with an eminent God at last
Yes people will come and go and you may find yourself alone
But sometimes you need some me time 
to appreciate the power of the Heavenly Throne 
Just don't bring God to your issues, bring your issues to God 
A breaking before the blessing just let God do His part

So adjust your mindset and let God have total control 
Not your will but the will of the One who watches over your soul
An internal transformation plus intimate time with The Heavenly Host
A breaking before the blessing delivered by the Holy Ghost
