The Book

The Book

The old book passed from hands to hands
And left readers with experiences to primeval
We all counted stars but failed in numerical
In sweats, cries, pains and will to test
From citadel to life I’m now at cross of roads
To break the barrier betwixt mind and growth
The secrets locked in the old book
Before the curtains fall on me like them

Within the warmth of my mind sits the tutor
The answer of the past and the future
That of the days gone like the cloture
Sits therein the wisdom of the sages
The answers the mind since denied of ages
In the book, old book, pristine, it sits
