The Blush of Dawn

Moonlight fades from shadowed night
giving way to dawn's blushing pink glow.
Then, the warmth of sunrise dries the dew
once thirsty leaves have all had their fill.
Morning skies turn a lovely hue of blue
and poets pen lines to fill empty pages.
