The Blue Sea

A
day as
clear as wine
no clouds in sight.
Oh -  s e r e n i t y -
In the cool summer wind,
the sweet air smells of the sea.
This beach, such a vast open space,
like jagged spears white birds streak the sky,
and the blue sea   k i s s e s   my painted toes.
