The Blood of Jesus

I believe in Angels ~ the tenderness of God
    
                  I believe broken hearts will mend ~ despite the fall        
          
                            I believe in miracles ~ the blind and sick restored
     
                     I believe the blood of Jesus ~ redeemed us on the cross

Think in your heart one thing, if you were the only one willing to go through this earthly experience....the only one on this earth, He would have died on the cross to offer his gift of the atonement in your behalf, He loves you that much Alturo. His enemies would have sought your life, but He would have held you like a mother holds her newborn in her arms. You would have been protected...

Hi Arturo, I'm sorry but I don't understand "the blood of Valentine" ? Christ redeemed us on the cross.

I didn't understand about "valentine" being the heart of Jesus, but how you explained it makes sense. But I have to say, I love the change, it is a clearer statement. Arturo, this is a powerful poem.

Hi Becca...By shedding his blood...For me, Valentine is the heart... I believe Jesus is the blessing of hearts... But I am pleased you ask that question... for I believe Valentine is not a love affair...and Jesus is the king of hearts...And correct...by his blood he redeemed us...and you know something...I am changing Valentine to Jesus... Thanks
