The Blessing of Waiting - Isaiah 30: 18b
Everyone’s heard of the waiting game
how we don’t get what we want now
impatience is something we all suffer
we find it so hard at times but how?
There is within us a lack of contentment
an unwillingness to be still and wait
lying deep in our being is real unbelief
thinking it won’t happen no matter the date
God has declared in His holy scriptures
blessed are all they that wait on Him
for when God comes and proves Himself
filling our vessels right up to the brim
When we receive the fullness of God
we look back to think why we did complain
for God’s waiting time is always worth it
His timing’s perfect like cool refreshing rain
(‘Blessed are all they that wait on Him’ Isaiah 30: 18b)
