The Black In Me, response letter
The black in me is hungry
Always seeking more,
She wants to hunt the bad ones
Bring justice for the lore.
Though most can’t understand this
Part of me and free,
When spurned I burned and reaffirmed
The deadly black in me.
The black in me is craving
To better all the time and
Time is no constraint
For other and divine…
Where consciousness is here
And there and up above,
The black in me appreciates
All pure kinds of love.
Strong black in me is fighting
For moral rights and truth,
For black has had her lessons
From childhood and youth.
She sees there’s many problems and
Goodness she preserves,
Connecting, protecting
As black in me observes.
The black in me considers;
Graciousness reflects,
Cordial to others
Earth, Sea and sky respects.
Loves the starry nights and
Lives the very sun
Amongst people and all living things
The black in me is One.
See the black in me is not my skin
Though bloodline is dark brown,
True blackness not just physical
Yet always is profound.
There is one place the black in me
Could never ever part,
The specialness and preciousness
Within my very heart.
The black in me you can’t wash out,
Reduce or take control,
She’ll always be eternally
For she’s my very soul.
Now I hope you understand
I’m as human as can be and
May relate to spirit trait and
Personality.
For I’d like to be your friend and
Thank you for your ask
To write about my blackness
Has been an untold blast!
Yes there is even more
I am this very night...
Though please take pen and write again
So I can read your white.
