The Birth of Destiny
As dark and light merged,
in the touch of fingers
a passover was made
this coupling foretold
that destiny,
would be born
pushed from the cusp
of two worlds,
leaving halos and horns
in a stillness, that ever
sighs of her departure
A single green blade
freed the earth
stealing her first breath,
as tips of flowers interlaced,
it shimmered within her
first dew kissed sleep
observed by immortals
(from both sides)
her fingers painted air,
as feet ran its first steps
creating winds through time,
gasps echoed the heavens
(a gathering had watched)
In awe
their desire
had been to keep her,
sacrificing their love
they gave this beauty
a life, purpose
a smile
at the end laughter
the comma
in the birth of tears,
became a lighted hope
that embers
all covet her
this galaxy of beauty
born on the cusp,
passed us all today
and walks among us
(immortals maintain their gaze)
and destiny? found me
as I write on her tail,
and touch the profound
