The Best of Us Don'T Impress Us Anymore
The best of us don't impress us anymore
They think they have arrived
Their ego is obvious
They believe they are superior
So isolation is never absent
In their dealing with us
We are lesser human
So many of them say
Just because they accumulate
Alot of paper wealth
Now we look so small
Just because they can now
Speak with the hunters
Dine and shake hands with them
Now their own looks like mere ant
Before their eyes
They turned their back
On the street
They turn down their cultural values
Just because they got western education
They turn down their youth
Just Because they own
Alot of paper wealth
The rest of us is now just
A fool to their eyes
The best of us don't impress us anymore
Instead of moral values
They chose to show off
They don't influence our
Youths to a positive vibes
Of inspiration
Their life style produce
Alot of hard core desperate youth
Ready to make it quick by
Every means posible
Our best influence is so high
But at what cost
Cos our youth are harden this days
They are far to see what is at their doorstep
No one is saying our history no more
No one is pulling the youth back
To the value of our culture no more
No wonder their minds are empty
With evil
Money is all they want
The rest dont matter
Even if it takes to kill anyone
What a generation
I bleed yes I bleed
For my generation
Yes I know we are not meant
To be this mentally devalued
Yes I know who we are
And because I know this
It hurt my soul that
The best of us don't impress us anymore
