Poem of the Day

06.01.2025

- The Best Nose -

     Today's highlight
     on the dog's terms
     The snow that has come,
     is soft and fluffy
     Explore,
     sniff fresh adventures
     Roll around,
     admire the world upside down,
     eat some snow,
     smell a trail,
     listen and bark
     do decisions
     All dogs have intrinsic value
and are allowed to be dogs
     Although the snow turns yellow
     when they are peeing

Dear Anne-Lise, I just loved your poem about your dog. They are amazing, beautiful creatures. I think you have captured the nuances of what a dog is and their curiosity about the world. The ending made me smile and chuckle!! Congratulations on POTD!! So deserving! Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Yes, it's that time of year again. Time for the cold wind, some ice and some snow. Even the animals are enjoying it, like the dog in your picture. So cute, Anne-Lise. I'm giggling at your last thought. :) Congratulations my dear friend, on Poem of the Day. My best to you. :) Hugs, Brandy

Dogs just love the snow on their noses and toes. We had snow yesterday in our area of the UK, looked lovely till the rain came and washed it all away. Congratulations on receiving the honour of poem of the day… Beryl
