The Best I Ever Had
This isn't our first time
Way back when you used to be mine
But I walked away and let it all go
And now I try so hard to show
That this time won't be like before
I am yours and so much more
My past no longer haunts me
And with you is where I want to be
Sometimes I take the long way around
But my way back to you is what I found
And never again will I walk away
I want to wake up next to you everyday
With you I want to spend the rest of my life
Someday soon I want to be your wife
I want to be yours now and forever
Cuz now I know I'll never have better
Than what I have with you
So I'll say it over and over again Yes baby I do
I do love you with all my heart
And I don't ever want us to be apart
You are such an amazing man
And I will do all I can
To prove all these things to you
Cuz what I say is so very true
I lost you once before
But that won't happen anymore
Cuz with you things are just right
You are the one I think of morning, noon, and night
And though I know at times I can be rough
Together we are tough enough
You and me after all we've been thru
There's nothing I wouldn't do
Cuz baby let's face it we are meant to be
Though some days you may not like me
My heart belongs to you
And I know you feel it too.
