The Berger At the Church Gate
The Berger at the church door
he always lies at
the door gate in
of the church
every one walks
pass him
some with kindness
some ignore
even the big rich man
who gave the biggest
church offering
ignores him
what a world
the berger at the church gate
he always lies at the
church door gate in
he always dressed
with a rough clothes
sometimes dirty
he always ask money
to feed cloth himself
like every human
he is sick
he got high diabetes
he got no mean
of insulin
his legs swollen
with a dirty sow
always he lie on
the church door
he prays along
as other do in the
church
cos ever bass sound
if the church speakers
at the door bang on
his head always
as he lie at the church
door begging
yet
some pass him by
unnoticed
some pass him by
with anger
some pass him by
with a kindness
some pass him
by with hatred
all going into the
church to pray
the berger at the church gate
he always lie at the
church door gate in
always begging
he needs a help
yet he get more
ignored than care
and most people
ignored by him
are same church
member like the berger
I wonder what kind
of god we pray to
when right at the
entrance of the church
a berger bleed to grieves
let say the berger
was the God in disguise
that means a lot of us all
have let him down
in a simple kindness
what a life
