The Bend of The River
and
so
it
begins...
as
melted
snow,
a
trickle
seeking
a path
to
wind...
the
river
snakes
through
limestone
deep,
while
willows
lean
and
fishes
sleep.
around
the
bend
it
sweeps
along,
humming
a
silver,
ceaseless
song;
no
rock
can
stem
its
steady
flow,
to
oceans
they
flow,
to
oceans
they
flow.
