The Believer and the Atheist
The Believer and the Atheist two sides to the age-old question,
Where do we go?
The Believer
Returning to friends
And family to see
So much to do
For this new reborn me
Peace all around
And all I desire
Comfort and love
From this heavenly choir
The body I borrowed
Is buried and gone
But my future is bright
Cos my soul it lives on
The Atheist
I’ll lay in a box
With nothing on my mind
No thoughts of tomorrow
Or the days left behind
No sense and no feelings
No worries or woes
And the shell of my body
Will then decompose
To dust I will turn
Of the me there’s no sign
When I close up my eyes
For the very last time
