The Beauty of the Rose

The light awakens the new day 
Nature is alive and vibrant and wanting to play

I  listen to the sound of the flowing stream 
As my mind dips into a glorious day dream

I gaze upon the rose before me and bask in the wonder
The beauty is a vision splendid as I embrace the spell I am under

I lightly trace her smooth soft petals as she blooms before my eyes
I watch the dew form and slide down the silky walls inside.

I ease my lips closer to taste the dew against the brilliant pink
I ease inside as the walls quiver my eyes wide open, never to blink.

The taste divine as my tongue explores her majestic wonder as she appears to sigh
I focus on the tip above her full bloom taking my time as my dream comes alive

Her walls turn to crimson as her stem shakes as I enjoy her pleasing mist
I lay back and close my eyes and relive the beauty of the rose a soothing bliss
