The Beauty of a Soul

To look at a soul
and not seek
the face
of beauty

To look at a soul
and not need anything more than it offers
too many are judged, in such cruel,
unfair disgust

Look at the beauty of scars
pain, hurt
loneliness
... despair

If you seek beauty
you will never
truly see
the beauty of a soul
