The Beautiful Tale of Family Bliss

Down by the reverie lived a lovely lady named Princess Marie.
She stood out in a crowd and was more beautiful than the rest-
She saw things of the Kingdom that even the King couldn’t see.
It must have been a Tuesday when she had her greatest test,
she saw a timid maiden who was barren and poorly dressed.
So she invited her to the castle for delicious crumpets and tea.

The maiden spoke of her lost love and the pain he created.
They were to marry but he longed to be free from relations-
In absolute solitude and seclusion, she was saturated,
full of the weary moments of undesirable devastation.
She seemed so full of sorrow she was ungrateful for her creation,
and started drowning in tears; for her life was complicated.

Princess Marie sat and listened thinking of Prince Lewis,
for he was so charming and debonair when they first met.
He adored her with respect and remembered their first kiss,
it was definitely a moment she would never be able to forget.
If there was one thing in their marriage she did regret,
it was that she could bear no children; no complete family bliss.

The maiden went on and Princess Marie started to cry.
She couldn’t stop the cascade flowing down her face-
So the Maiden stopped and became quiet then asked her why
she was so full of sorrow; she gave her a strong embrace.
Princess Marie shared her secret then ran away without a trace,
for the Maiden never followed, she didn’t even try.

Princess Marie ran into Prince Lewis’s arms to find ease.
He was astounded at how upset his wife had become-
Instantly her sorrow and misery began to dramatically cease,
though her thoughts lingered to how she wanted to be a mum.
Princess Lewis wanted to save her from being so glum.
Then they saw the Maiden run up through the forest trees.

The Maiden gave her a strong hug and said "I have notion.
I take care of the babies in my orphanage in Towne Square-
I know of the perfect baby you could love with devotion
and if you’d like, right now, I could take you both there."
Princess Marie’s face was uplifted, you could see her care.
They took the horse carriage filled with great emotion.

Instantly she saw little Nicholas in the corner of her eyes.
He was two weeks old and needed a mum to love dearly-
For sweet baby Nicholas was their greatest surprise,
and their immediate love for him was seen clearly.
She was immensely grateful to the Maiden, sincerely.
In the game of marriage Nicholas was their greatest prize.

It was on their fiftieth anniversary when King Lewis died.
His heart was too weak to live a healthy life anymore-
At the grief-stricken burial, Princess Marie and Nicholas cried,
for it was Prince Lewis that they would always adore.
Princess Marie died a week later and was royalty no more,
now Prince Nicholas was in charge of the Kingdom with pride.

Prince Nicholas shined with honor just like his father Lewis-
Wrapped his arms around his children, felt complete family bliss.
