The Beautiful Hush

Come to me, my love.
Come to me, softly and sweetly.
In my dreams, I invite you to come.
              Make me dream awake!

Come quietly, my precious love,
and come quickly, for hardly can I wait
to feel your lips pressed to mine!
When at last I feel
                              your tender caress,
your devotion I will feel
both on and beneath my skin.

You do not need to speak -
but if you must. . .
you may whisper to me your love,
and let it be as sublime as the beautiful hush
             that will surround us.

oooossshhhhh! Sensual, tender, soft with lots of viscous nectar to the soul. My dermis vibrates to your lines, melting the nearest church bell for my hormones to congregate. So so nice.... Fully enjoyed!

"and let it be as sublime as the beautiful hush / that will surround us." So dreamy and romantic, Andrea. I can't see the list of winners, so I don't know whether to congratulate you or not, but I can only imagine this was a winner!

Regina is having participants re-enter in her next contest with the same theme. Maybe You can do one. I have no clue if I had won. I should check my contest list. Maybe it was useless for me to enter again , if I lost first time?? I just don't know. Maybe I lost! Last time a contest like this did not go through, I could see my win at least in my hotmail notification

Lovely Andrea! I wrote about dreams too. I have been without internet and T.V. for a few days. Our modem was not working. It gives being in quarantine a whole new perspective. I read a lot, but couldn't read what I most wanted to, which is poetry here! The guy is coming on Monday to replace the old cable he said was antiquated. This is a great entry! Blessings xxoo

Very beautiful, Andrea. Love the thought: "Make me dream awake." If only our good dreams did come true! Best wishes in the contest. Hugs, Carolyn
