The Beautiful Breath of Life

In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,”
says the Lord your Redeemer. Isaiah 54:8

Justice, mercy and love are found
in the Grace of Almighty God,
Blessed by His Spirit moment by moment
I am compelled to praise His name -
He a jealous God who protects His children
from Satan, from ourselves, from the world.
He disciplines when we fail to obey
but still, He sheds forgiveness if we ask.

I cannot face my challengers alone;
I cannot find solutions by myself.
But I do find strength and wisdom
and I am eternally grateful for...
sufficiency in the Grace of God.
He knows better than I - what I need.
God takes MY selfish breath away!
...and replaces it with His Own Spirit.
