The Beatles and I on Marriage and Love

If it’s really as the Beatles say
          ‘All you need is love’

Then I’ll skip examining my marriage
contract with that ageless old white glove

And as George Harrison (the thoughtful one) said on several occasions, “Everything else can wait but the search for God cannot wait, and love one another.” Cute and current gw! :)

All you need is love… and courage to face it honestly. Beautiful lines!

Yep, never did think the Beatles knew much about anything. Music was catchy though.

This isn't the first time, I've left you with this, 'applause.' I so get IT.

The Beatles existed in that fairy-tale bubble of vast wealth, willing women and wine, didn't they?

Gershon, brilliant twist--love over legalese, as it should be. Though I hear Paul whispering, “We can work it out,” while John is buying a “Ticket to Ride.” Either way, I’m with you: skip the glove, keep the groove, my friend.

Don’t follow the Beatles for love advice. Follow the Song of Songs. Remember to compliment your wife as having hair like a flock of goats and a neck like the tower of David. ;) Hugs! Yay, hostages released. Praise the Lord!

You mean that 'All You Need is Love is not the 'Song of Songs?' Guess I've been mistaken all these years. ~ Solomon ibn David
