The Beat of My Heart

When I hear you name,
When I see your face,
my heart races.

I want to feel you,
and be there for you always.

I love you,
but you....*tear*
........................

I want to give you my all,
my being, my everything.

The sound of you voice
makes my heart pound.

Faster and faster
my heart beats.

I forget how to breathe
and feint from you beauty.

When my heart quickens,
you look at me,
as if its the loudest thing you hear.

Swiftly you turn away,
as if I'm poison,
your own personal disease.

What if my heart didn't beat?
Would you notice that I was gone?

I think of you all day,
as well as in my dreams.

Every thought, word, glance,
quickens the beat of my heart.
