The Beach
If you can reach a sandy beach,
It’s really quite relaxing.
A seagull’s screech or dripping peach
Might pass for something taxing.
The sun beats down, your skin turns brown;
The surfers ride their boards in.
A seaside town precludes a frown
And heaps lots of rewards in.
So if you can, work on your tan
And make a daytime visit,
For every man becomes a fan
In setting so exquisite.
