SO TRUE MY FRIEND. PEOPLE DO NO OWN CATS, CATS OWN PEOPLE. I have seen that and was always amazed at how the cat responded to my ex-wife's adoration. Excellent contest entry my friend..

My ex's cat beat up his ex (literall, viciously) they had to argue in fake happy voices till the cat wised to that. I was the first and only person other than him that she respected, and I WAS tested, knowingly so, I earned her respect lol

Ah yes Maureen i have 2 cats and must constantly get out their way and their seats. I wish i was their owner but I'm merely their slave. I wouldn't give them up either. This captures the feline mentality perfectly. Great great poem.

I can easily picture that ;) My first dog was very cat like, people who didn't like dogs liked her. I was owned by a wolf-dog, now I own a dog...so much easier without the attitude! Thank you James, love your kitties for me! xomo
