The Askance Chapter 4 Part 6d
{Let this night be embraced of love
Be of love to remember this night
For tomorrow once more is to serve
With a memory of once love to hide}
And as I slept from, I awoke
To a modern reality from an ancient dream
Will Alkaiya be well, can I trust to hope?
Yet haven’t I learn that nothing is to seem!
I cannot begin to imagine what be like
To begin to love and to then learn to unlove
Perhaps all be better to simply have died
And no longer even, need I evermore serve
Yet somehow I find myself not blaming the Heavens
For their given fates upon my questing time
Rather, I accuse myself with substantial reasons
To have lowered my guards from the means of love from behind
I do wonder sometimes, have I wronged Ei-rian
To once again love and abandon her with regard
Need I seek for forgiveness from the Angel of Dreams?
To acknowledge her devotion of a hundred years I tore apart
Right now, simply I must do what I have to do
To ensure the dominance of The Ancients be led in good faith
Though in one sense, I prefer neither to overrule
Perhaps a deeper self of mine is a fight for love I’ll have save
