The Askance Chapter 4 Part 6b
Excusing himself into his domains, I returned to Alkaiya’s side
Hence was Twit shying to a corner with a spirit in a lost-fill light
With silence turning into darkness, thoughts were in despair
All hopes seem lost to a sheering point of no return to be aware
Where of the Goddess of Word? Will you not care to those who serve?
Simply let die are you to forsake and disregard the menials you birth?
From a different time, a different moment is in-tune to reconcile
A seeming death from a seeming thief from a memorial profile
I was in agony, perhaps just as Alkaiya and Ei-rian was before
Overpowered with thoughts of losing that someone… adored
And just as the Sun dusk to the Twin moons of the night
Sylvius reappeared out of a subtle glow of the moonlight}
“My fellow Knight of the Word as one be named
I’m afraid it may be too late to have the poison tamed
The only cure can only be found from the Leech-King himself
The very one who soon can possess her soul like no one else
Mayhaps the Goddess of Word will have panacea for the venom
Unfortunately, beings of Gods perplex in ways beyond reason
Every a thing has only to be in ultimacy from a beginning to the end
And its only after being banished, have I the basis to truly understand
The Gods will shy when need them be in unalloyed foremost
For till death even, they’ll never be united with humans up-close
Merely as spawns have I become as you are in their viewpoint
To be tossed as playthings should their indulgence appoint!
With time as spared, though I may not have a cure in mind
Yet… there is a way to have the poison prolonged in time
For you see… it is of souls where the leeches are only known to feed
Never of blood, neither of flesh is the Leech-king to seek
I have a spell to divide an equation of one to two as one
A soul in separation and in unity to capture confusion to hunt
As individuals, your bequeath powers are weaknesses to the unknowing
Yet as one, were the givens unmeasured and unparalleled to the knowing
In bonds with the cause, both is to live separate lives hereafter
Never in actuality as ones to be admitted as one hence an ever
As to say, should I have to prolong the curse must you agree
To never more be in unity else be catastrophic result to be
Nevermore to work as one, never to fall in love as well
Never to share for the bonds of souls to be in perfidy hell
For once spellbound, the leech within will be left confuse to whom it feeds
And will continue to be as long your souls be unbound to meet
