The Askance Chapter 3 Part 3b
Might she be Alkaiya, the Goddess’s Mistress of War?
Is she still to be alive, from the thousand years before?
She heard me as I drew closer and turns defensively ready to strike
Yet she stood dumbstruck, starring with vacant eyes of a hope long died
It was the longest while before she retreated and stumbled onto the ground
A single tear rang her eye, a tear to believe what once being lost was found}
“Is it really to be you, can I begin to believe ever this once more
Will you tell me, its nay another mindless hope to have hoped for
Ei-rian the Befallen had told me once, ‘A time lost is lost time to come’
‘Death beyond a darken moon, will reborn again a dawnful Sun’
And now as clearly as you I see, is as clear a message I see to be
Give me words to promise this land cleanse of an undesired reality
I couldn’t come to you, the night of your death within Ei-rian’s arms
For I was chained and caged with an unlisted sentence to be hung
Being deceived into the Heaori Chamber, I was cursed by the unholy tomb
And with the last of my mortality diminished, I became a berserker all too soon
Henceforth, from a disturbed heart came hatred beyond minds to be humane
And as rumour goes,’ When a berserker passes, only corpses remain’
Though vested of inhuman power, I slaughtered even those of innocents
How is one to redeem from such unforgiving rain of incidents?
In bonds with the curse, I could only deprive myself from everything I was
In time, I Alkaiya, venture The Ancients alone, broken and lost
Mayhaps this engiven strength I’m to use for a greater good
As decided, I risk into the dark legions alone, as I already should
Yet, the servants of the DarkLord has one too many to overcome
And through a timeless battle fought, I was soon overrun
The torture they inflicted were nothing compared to the pain in my heart
With you lost and me captured, our downfall has caused the balance to be torn apart
Each night, I can only hear chants of victories they have won
And with every humans held captive, my death will they witness upon!
I remembered the night I’m to be sentenced as though yesterday
The very night itself where your life was taken and derived away
The Askance appeared and ensave me from the very wrath of evil
Hence, shouldering me in flight after, towards Ei-rian the Bafallen Angel
And there within her embrace, you lay lifelessly dead
This painful destiny, will only be the cause of The Ancient’s fate
