The Askance Chapter 1 Part 3
A Selfless Love
A voice has already spoken
A voice much too indecipherable to understand
From the beginning were my dreams broken
Yet now, I’m intrigue to learn to comprehend
I remain silent this day
In need of lust, in need of tranquility
Yet both isn’t to be either way
Upon lost of love and the voiceful mystery
And I decided to be alone this while
Yearning so little, desiring so much
Selfless to be… to love, yet how?
Perhaps reality is only a given such
As I lay upon my bed once more
An anguish fell from the quilt we once share
Tis’ be the moment when you I miss and adore
The best of times when two is equal a pair
And for a moment I hear
Dreaming or not, I’m to doubt no more, no less
The voice from the broken dream I fear
Is my sleep I wonder, no longer of peaceful rest?
In the sheer instant, I felt lifted
Floating in bewilderment amidst a forsaken land
A worthy selfless upon the time awaited
From poetries told, since a remembered when
Loneliness had angered an engiven flame
And indeed, fear is but lonely afterall
After so much a time… a fallen image
My inner self-indulgence no longer calls
“Eternity feathers the weight of damnation
Filtering the airless soul of spiritual existence
The beckoning calls upon the return of one’s aid
A language untouched and unwashed it solemnly awaits”
