The Artist's Palette

The artist's palette featured
every nuance and shade of color
  known to impressarios
    and assorted other patron saints

Asked to comment, le artiste himself reflected
    ~ 'A bucket of paint, it ain't'

All depicting so much history through art like the 18th century art verses the late 19th century art. Here's to Impressionism, my favorite. Did you know there are 2 real artist that splatter cans of paint on a giant canvases of different colors similar to your last 2 lines. Their work was shown in a museum called MOMA once in New York City, not for me. I'll take light paintings of shadows of haystacks and the cutouts of Matisse any day. This made me think of your last two lines. I love your poetry and enjoy it so much for so many reasons

I remember back in the 60's it seemed that every art class started (and often ended) with sketching nudes. (My roommate was an artist. Or at least thought he was. lol). Good for you, anyway. ... Not my cup of tea, either. ~ Mad Hatter

No, Gershon, never saw it I vaguely remember nude people rolling in paint on a canvas, but don’t know where that was!! I did take an art class once in FF. We had to sketch a nude man, I dropped out of the class.not into that Arg, Pangie

Heh, heh. Ever see one of those dudes dump the bucket on a canvas? I watched it at the Guggenheim Museum of Art in 1971. Then it sold for 1.25 million an hour afterward. I thought to myself, 'What is the world coming to?' That was tame back then, eh?!
