"Attitude, love, and delight can color a garden as surely as flowers."
Quote - by Constance
When the birds sing and flowers bloom,
the air tells me that it is spring;
sun washing away winter gloom,
and a hued garden sun will bring.
Memories of mom's garden cling,
I promise flowers for her tomb;
from her I know each garden thing,
when the birds sing and flowers bloom.
Seeds begin in a glass sunroom,
soon, the leaves are doing a fling;
the sunroom is now a greenroom,
the air tells me that it is spring.
Bright flowers bring bees that may sting,
and button roses for a groom;
and I love each sweet butter's wing,
sun washing away winter gloom.
I love each hummer's feather plume,
each day my garden worshiping;
I love the scents and sweet perfume,
and a hued garden sun will bring.
Oh, see vines like green blooming string,
be humble and never assume;
the blooms are always queen and king,
till autumn winds and rain consume;
when the birds sing.
