Dueling feelings let us know communication from soul to soul may be not only with words, but especially, sharing from experience to experience: what really happen with your verses, thus argument of your talent -a thing of beauty...

You've won the argument and the contest! And the way you won the argument in poetic form, is very clever and creative! Either real or fantasy, a winner Michelle. Hugs, Jennifer.

Ha, ha: 'stoic facts and sly lies' -- sounds like sophistry to me. But then again, that's debatable. :) gw '

I never took debate in school, so I guess I wouldn't know-so glad you like this one, gw!

I never quite learned this art, that's why I try hard to avoid discussions about such topics as sex, religion, and politics. Your "art" in this piece, Michelle, is "arguably" quite compelling.

You describe the art very nicely. I'm particularly fond of the last line "sparring in dueling sentences". This is a great description of a true argument. Every success in the competition.
