The Apple Tree

Look intently into that apple tree 
What do you see? 
Lo and Behold , a swarm of bees 
Something writhes and slithers,
Boomslang!!!!!
Wait ,is it even a snake or just a rope? 
Where have you ever seen a writhing rope? 
But the winds are coming in quite hard
Well ,the rope could have fallen but never mind 
A lot of rotten apples 
Are you kidding me ? 
And I think I have actually spotted a ripe orange
Oh my insolent head is playing weird games with me 
The leaves look luminous 
The glowing sheen so extravagant 
 But it depends on the side you are looking from
 Take a couple of steps to the left,
 It all becomes gloomy and lugubrious again 
 But who cares about the other side? 
 Aren't the riches of the better side enough?
 Life is too short 
 The agile black cat runs up the tree 
 It must have been attracted by this sweet savour 
 There is no other reason he could have climbed up that quick
 But aren't cats extremely nimble climbers always ?
 And wait ,do cats have a similar sense of smell to humans? 
 Are we even drawn to the same things ?
 Oh silly me ,there is a snake in the tree 
 But wait ,Did i confirm if it is really a snake?
 It might just be a rope
A slithering rope my guy? 
Must be a very strange rope indeed
Well ,whatever the puzzle continues 
Why am I worried about the cat and the snake anyway? 
Shouldn't I be focusing on the bigger picture?
Surely I deserve a slap on the wrist at least 
But no ,Is it my problem that my curiosity is out of control? 
Can I control my mind's rampant wanderings ? 
The apple tree , seems unbothered by the extravaganza around it 
For a split second ,I could bet my whole fortune 
 a trickle of rain fell on my head 
Am I only saying this because I actually don't have even a single dollar?
No , I don't want to imagine what you think could have happened
It will ruin my drea...
Did I just say dream ? 
Yeah ,you should have told me this was too silly to be real
