Loving my mother, The roots to my tree she stays, Exalting her charm, Embracing her every word Fearing to become her too

Very interesting tanka you have here, Jamecia--that last line definitely gave this an intriguing twist as well-- and for some reason I can also relate to it-- nikko :)

Your Poem leaves a mixed feeling. You appear to love your mother, still fearing to become her too. You have left the readers in a stage of solving this mystery. One thing is very clear that you have dealt the Poem very skillfully. Beautiful write my friend. Love and best wishes....Ravindra...Jamecia Buggs
