The Ant King

Is it you?
Are you the king of humans?

The fruits of my labor will be mine to claim.
Endure, suffer, embrace the pain.
What’s mine is earned, nothing in vain.

Are you the one they call king?
I was born to be absolute.
The strongest being.

I devour all,
growing more powerful—
with every enemy I consume.

How dare you,
you human?
You filthy human.

I am supposed to be king.

Interesting poem. Maybe, in due time, the ant will be king?!
