The Angels
Was it an honest mistake what you did?
I think not you knew what you did yet you still did it
How can you live with yourself each day knowing what you did?
You gave me promises that would fulfill my heart in every way
One was our love would never die.
Nothing would get in our way
I did everything in my power not to lose your love
It was true happiness being with you
We would be there for each other
Those were your lies you gave to me
For 9 months I listened waiting for that one day
Getting my chance to be with you again
My sacrifices were shown for you each day
Through all of this I suffered the most
While you were in paradise I was in hell
Seeing you happy not caring for me made me realize something
That I was truly gone from you and our love
I was suffering with lies and heart break
But when you thought I was down for the count and done with
Two strangers came by and helped me up
At that time I didn’t know that they would change my life forever
Slowly they nursed me back to health and gave me a new look at life
Taught me new things about myself and my life
Showed me that they were there no matter what
They wouldn’t turn there back on me
Who were these people?
They were angels sent from above
