The Altar Weeps

Hearts torn asunder
    the altar of love weeps
  into mankind's service
    Venom slinking, seeps

  O, calm, reign supreme
    peace, into the home stream
  voices raised, rising, all is lost
    Rancor's chorus exacts its cost
