The Almighty Order

A certain etiquette Undoubtingly followed More faith placed than a medle of Gods. Perhaps this is because of difference in value? Truly, what is Divinity When compared to social dogma? A God can only destroy The words of peers annhilate And make one pray to that same deity, for an end. Unaware of our own faith To the social rules we bow before, It is simple to become a shell Cut down by a few mocking glances. Please, tell me how you're different. Explain to me that social status is nothing. But, why then is it That you're witholding so much emotion? You won't tell your neighbor your political views Blatantly refuse to have an open opinion Lest you offend another, And become the dreaded pariah.
