The Air That You Breathe

God, he provides for all of your needs,
the food that you eat and the air that you breathe.
He makes the leaves grow on all of the trees
and makes the tides surge in all of the seas.
He brings on the seasons all the year long
and sets to right all that is wrong.
He brings comfort to those who are down
and helps those who are lost to find their way home.
It is his power that makes the world turn
and the stars in the heavens with his light they do burn.
He made us from dust and drew our first breath.
He’s with us from the beginning to well beyond death.
His power is beyond all that we know
and although we are sinners he still loves us so.
