Notes About The Poem

The Agamas

Scriptures rich with esoteric wisdom deep
Each has it’s validity
Yet without direct knowing, words are cheap
For where’s the certainty
That there’s the Trinity

Allowing that sages have gone to the roots
We walk not in their shoes
Each path unique, all doing what heart suits
Until grazed by bliss hues
Ignition that renews

Once head melds with heart, baptised in the stream
Our lower mind falls away
Entwined with oneness we know life’s a dream
Desires no longer hold sway
Love divine, our mainstay

God’s omnipresent, so must be here within
Thus, let’s choose cessation
We embrace the current as bliss burns our skin
Freeing us from delusion
Earth life then celebration

Govinda Hare Krishna... a beautiful song I've seen little one's dance to. Krishna aka Vishnu. The Eastern religions most fascinating. Thank you for your poem I will study it.
